Okay, we just made a deal about keyboard control.
Yesterday:
builders bar
milk (1/2 glass, we ran out)
water
ice tea
leftover sushi
leftover couscous
apple
Wawa hoagie on whole wheat (shorti--I usually go for the classic)
water
oh, and some more water
No exercise to speak of. Oh, Z. and I did our sit-ups (Z. does her sit-ups lying down. The whole time.) I'm up to twenty reps on two of the muscle groups and ten on the others. Beyond that, I guess I walked a few blocks from parking to the theater.
We went to see Pink Martini last night, about which more on the main blog later, I think.
Okay, now it's Z.'s turn, as previously determined. You might want to click on to wherever you were heading now.

I also do my sit-ups lying down. Well, I don't start off that way, but after a few reps I lose track, get bored, and realize -- five or ten minutes later -- that I've just been lying there staring at the ceiling.
It goes like this: we roll out A.'s yoga mat, i lie down and start while Z. gets down between my legs. Z. lies down a Z.-prescribed amount of time while I keep going. Z. says "okay, Mama" and gets up. I attempt to finish while Z. attempts to belly-flop onto my belly. You know the deal.
It sounds sort of like trying to do sit-ups (or yoga or any kind of lying down exercise) with maggie around. Oh, the face-licking.
Lo, you're making me sad about no more Ilsa, who would never have tolerated this scene without providing the face-licking.
But I was already sad that way.
